The third grade scientists made hypotheses about whether or not our bar magnets could work through various materials. They had fun putting their ideas to the test by experimenting with foam, wax paper, aluminum foil, paper, plastic, water, and index cards. Our results were surprising!

Teams of third, fourth, and fifth graders had fun participating in the Intermediate Olympics. It was great to see how they supported one another in each event. There was a Lego building challenge, a whatsit creative challenge, a relay race challenge, and a spatial cone challenge. |
