The class has an awesome time camping out under the stars on Thursday. We listened to Native American folk tales, learned about the constellations, designed a constellation viewer, created a Chatterpix project, flashlight read, and more! It was a great way to culminate our study of the solar system.

The third grade scientists had a great time designing models to represent what causes day and night. We are having lots of fun learning about the solar system. The third graders enjoyed listening to the book, Sir Cumference and the First Round Table, and finding the diameter and circumference of various cylinders in cooperative groups. |
